Day Seventeen is about to get intimate! Today we are digging into poop! Bowel movements and going to the bathroom regularly are signs of a healthy and thriving digestive tract. When we are not going to the bathroom it is a sign that something internally is off.
Ideally, you want your BMs to happen within the first hour or so of waking up and be a snake like consistency. If it is hard to go or you are not going, you might want to start tracking your BMs and what you are eating to see if you can narrow down the foods that are irritating your gut.
Why is this important? Our guts are connected to our brains. When we are backed up and things aren’t running smoothly it can impact our mental state!
Journal Questions:
What are my BMs like?
Do I go regularly and consistently?
Are there any foods that I consume that I think might irritate my gut?
